Sarah Pederson’s A Family of a Different Feather
After reading Sarah Pederson’s A Family of a Different Feather I have mixed emotions on the subject. Yes it makes sense to explain issues in a child’s life especially when they are curious about the lives of their friends. This is a far better option then ignoring the child’s questions and leaving them to fend for themselves which can cause anxiousness in the child. The problem is that this parent feels that she needs a book to communicate what is going on with her kid. Yes it might be awkward to explain it but children will feel much better if they get their answers from the ones they love then some book.
